Hey there,
Do you remember back in the 1990s when people were wearing those bracelets with the letters WWJD? It stood for “What Would Jesus Do.” And it was a constant reminder to emulate Jesus in your life.
There was a follow-up movement called FROG, which stands for “Fully Rely on God.” Also a good one!
Those WWJD bracelets and that phrase have disappeared from our culture. But it’s an idea we should still follow today.
After all, following the teachings of Jesus Christ is what Catholicism is all about. And it’s the best way to prepare for His second coming and to rebuke the Antichrist.
We don’t know who the Antichrist is, nor do we know when he will come. It could be tomorrow or it could be 1000 years from now after we’re long gone.
But we do know that if we want to get to heaven, we need to not be tricked into following the Antichrist! Our salvation depends on us being on high alert against the Antichrist and continuing to follow Jesus and His teachings.
This week’s issue of Genuflect breaks down what we need to know about the Antichrist, clues about who he may be, what Scripture and Saints say about him, signs his forerunners are already here, and how to defend against the Antichrist.
So as you’re tempted by sin, or you’re asked to accept things that go against your faith, beware of the Antichrist … and just remember, WWJD!
