Hey there,
This issue of Genuflect almost didn’t happen.
My daughter is getting married on Saturday and I’ve been knee deep in wedding preparations … all the time.
I took off work this week so I could focus on everything I had to do before Saturday. I completely lost track of my routine and around 4:30 pm yesterday, I realized it was Tuesday … and I needed to get Genuflect done!
So, I took a break from all the wedding prep and put together this issue of Genuflect about … wait for it, the Sacrament of Matrimony, including the history of marriage, what the Sacrament entails, how to have a happy marriage, Patron Saints of marriage and so much more.
Helping with my daughter’s wedding has brought back memories of my own wedding 37 years ago. And researching the Sacrament of Matrimony has reminded me of the special grace they will receive … and the grace that my husband and I can call on in our own marriage.
Now, back to my wedding to do list!
