About The Saint Valentine Novena
Saint Valentine was a 3rd Century Roman priest and martyr. He was arrested for helping Christians who were being persecuted by Claudius in Rome and for performing marriage ceremonies between young Christian couples in love. He was beaten with clubs and stoned and beheaded on February 14th, around the year 269. His feast day is on February 14th. Begin praying the novena on February 5th to complete it in time for the feast day. But you can pray the novena anytime throughout the year to ask for his intercession.
