About The Novena to St. Monica
Saint Monica, also known as Monica of Hippo, is the mother of Saint Augustine of Hippo. She is perhaps best known for her conversion of her husband, mother-in-law, and her son, Augustine. Her feast day is on August 27. Begin praying the novena on August 18th to complete it in time for her feast day. But you can pray the novena anytime throughout the year to ask for her intercession for the conversion of a loved one.
