Hey there,
As you know, Genuflect is on a mission to help you deepen your Catholic faith … to continue to grow closer to the Lord.
Each week we take a deep dive into a specific topic of Catholicism.
I hope it’s working … I’ve received very positive feedback from some of you.
It’s done wonders for me!
I am a cradle Catholic. I attended two years of CCD classes before switching over to Catholic school, completing 10 years of Catholic school.
I’ve been through periods where I just occasionally practiced my faith. And then some completely dry periods.
Honestly, I suspect I took all those years of Theology classes for granted and didn’t really retain much knowledge. Because each week I’m learning new things about Catholicism that I feel I should already know.
A few years ago I found my way back and recommitted myself to Catholic living.
I personally have found that participating as much as possible … whether it’s through Reconciliation, Adoration, Mass, Stations of the Cross, praying the Rosary, etc. … has helped me to grow closer to the Lord.
But I know I still have a long way to go!
Because increasing our relationship with the Lord is an ongoing effort. It’s a journey and not a destination as they say. One that we will never complete until we face Him on our judgment day.
Fortunately, there are a ton of resources available … and things we can do.
So this week, we’re looking more specifically at ways to grow deeper in our faith. Resources, tools, tips and tricks to help … in addition to reading Genuflect each week of course. 😉
