Hey there,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I pray you’re still experiencing the joy of the Christmas season and have not yet given up your resolutions.
Last Sunday we celebrated the Solemnity of the Epiphany, when Our Lord entered the world and was revealed to the nations. What an incredible blessing!
With that recognition, came different responses … from King Herod’s jealousy… to the worship of the Wise Men.
No doubt our response to the birth of Our Lord was one of celebration and worship. But as the Christmas season comes to an end, we’re reminded that our worship should not.
Our salvation depends on worship.
So, it’s important for us to recognize the need for worship, to understand God’s call to worship, and ultimately to worship as He instructs us … all throughout the year. And that is the focus of this 2024 inaugural issue of Genuflect.
It’s not too late to start a new resolution.
Keep Believing-

Salvation Depends on Worship
Father Bill Peckman reminds us that as Catholics we are called to worship at Sunday Mass. He addresses the challenges head on that some don’t think it’s necessary, or get too bored, or wrestle with children, or have been hurt by the Church. But the fact remains, our salvation depends on it.

Deepening Your Love For The Mass
At the Last Supper, Jesus tells us how he wants us to worship … with the sacrifice of the Holy Mass. So this is probably a good time to revisit this issue of Genuflect from a couple of years ago that’s all about the Mass.
