Hey there,
Lent is exactly two weeks away so there’s no time like the present to finalize your Lenten preparation.
We know there are three aspects to Lent: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. We’ve covered each of these topics before, but none more so often than prayer.
It makes sense since there are so many forms and methods of prayer. We pray in adoration, petition, intercession, thanksgiving and praise. In formal and informal ways.
It’s our opportunity to speak directly with our Lord.
This week’s issue of Genuflect was three-and-a-half years in the making. We’ve compiled issues that cover various aspects of prayer, from what prayer is, to different methods like the Holy Rosary, Novenas, Litanies, Chaplets, and the Divine Office, to Eucharistic Adoration, praying with candles, and our free prayer planner download.
Lent is the perfect time to expand beyond your typical prayer practices and hopefully these prayer resources will help you incorporate something new!
